Hi, I’m Mike Riley, the energy behind Inertia Wealth Management

And, like so many of us, I grew up without any money know-how.

So, when my first employer auto-enrolled me in their 401K I had zero understanding of what this meant for my future.

The answer: all good things.

As I started to build wealth, I cobbled together a “financial support team.”

But my first financial advisor-turned-insurance-broker signed me up for an expensive – and unnecessary – policy.

And the next financial advisor added a whole lot of …. nothing.

I knew there was a better way and committed myself to building a pathway toward wealth on my own terms. I experienced first-hand the big impact small changes made in my balance sheet – and my life.

But, not everyone is ready, able to, or motivated to do the same.

What does “fiduciary” mean

The word ‘fiduciary’ literally means trust. In the financial sector, acting as a fiduciary means that by law, I am required to always act in my client’s best interests. In layperson’s terms, I will manage your money to benefit YOU – not me.

No. Whether it is working on building a budget, investing for the first time, or building generational wealth, I am eager to help people at all stages of their financial journey.
